Can I install @RISK and other Palisade software on a Mac?

Yes, but only running a virtual machine with Windows. Palisade software and Microsoft Office for Mac are not supported.

Palisade software is supported in these Windows environments hosted on macOS:

Windows 7 through Windows 10 running using BootCamp. (See Apple's page Boot Camp Support.)
Windows 7 through Windows 10 emulation using Parallels, VirtualBox, or VMWare. (Parallels users, launch Microsoft Excel for Windows in Parallels before launching @RISK or any of the DecisionTools. To avoid the need to launch Excel first, use the Registry editing technique described in Which Version of Excel Is Opened by Palisade Software?)

Important: When emulating a Windows 11 or Windows 10 virtual environment using a macOS computer with M1, M2, or M3 chips, we can not certify that @RISK or any other add-in from our suite will fully function as you may encounter unpredictable behaviors external to Palisade.
