5.11. Support for Student Licenses

Applies to: The DecisionTools Suite — student edition, textbook edition, and university course license

I bought a student license from Palisade, or my school had me install a course license, or I got the software free with a textbook. What kind of support do you offer?

Support includes installation and activation, problems with operating the software, and basic questions about features. For model design or homework, please consult your professor.

We'll gladly help you in email, but unfortunately we don't have the resources to support student licenses in live chat or by phone.

Common problems, questions, and error messages may not even need a personal response. Please check out our searchable Knowledge Base, 24/7 at kb.palisade.com.

Email us at support@palisade.com and you should hear back within 24 hours (usually sooner), apart from weekends. You can speed things up by including your serial number or book title and ISBN. Be as specific as possible with your question or problem. If you're getting an error message, attach a screen shot. If the software seems to be misbehaving, attach your workbook.

Be sure you list Palisade.com as an allowed email sender. If you don't hear back from us, check your spam folder to see if our reply got trapped there.
